‘How fresh and green your branches’ Sing along

Yipee!!!  I finally managed to put the tree up last night

All green and decked with gold bows and chains, Had an inspiration that I would take a picture for my blog, however it was not to be, much like the owner,  the batteries on my camera have gone a tad flat…..must remember to add that to my shopping list, which I must start soon!!!!!!!  In the meantime Ive pilfered this from google courtesy of Craig.C. Douglas……………. this is how I love to see christmas trees decorated, I just love the stillness that snow brings to the landscape…………….

I got very nostalgic whilst dressing house……… as many of the decorations I had not seen for 6 years, some I remembered buying with the children, favourites that speak of times gone past, never to return, so in some ways this event was a resting place for me, time to remember, pay my respects and ( Ive heard this before this week) move on.

This will also be the first year for six years my children will all be with me on Christmas day………so it is special already……………We have come a long way, each with a common story, yet unique, to share somewhere down the years….

Now to work and hopefully some shopping………….must remember those batteries……….
