Taken by surprise

Forgive the quality of this one, but I was so struck by this house I juuuuuuuuuuuuust had to take a picture, which meant pulling the car into the side of the road for a quickie.
Ive lived in this small seaside town for coming up to 7 years and this is the first time Ive noticed this house, its very impressive and I was utterly amazed when it caught my eye, dont often drive on this particular road and given that the trees are still bare its appeared as if by magic. This house is not even five minutes from my house, but across the main dual carraigeway enroute to the city.
I will have to do a little research to find out anything about it, who lived there, its history, when built etc. It doesnt look lived in at the moment and gives the appearance of being empty for some time.
Now searching the Yellow pages for removal firms, on second thoughts, beautiful as it is………..imagine the heating bills. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
