The best of days in so many ways
I think I can just write this…through my tears of joy….my hands are still shaking in fact my whole body is shaking still…
About half an hour ago willing myself to go out in the rain, do that shop…I was just coming downstairs when I saw the door open and guess who walked in ….YES, YES, YES.
PATS HOME
I screamed, and grabbed him for that big hug, then sat on the stairs and just shook and cried, tears of joy and relief…. Pat on the other hand was so cool, so calm and collected but big smiles and big hugs…He looks so well, tanned and toned.. Now I do the big mamma thing and go shop and cook, celebratory drink first and got to smoke a black and mild cigar, he insisted I try one…..Lol
Then time for sharing story
A day to remember, a moment to remember.
My heartfelt gratitude for all the of support that really mattered and kept me looking in the right direction whilst he was away. I just know it would not have been the same without your gifts
Love and hugs all round..
So, that’s a wrap, at last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And it just about wraps up a pretty great day all round!
Welcome home Pat!! Auds, please pass on to him for me my admiration and tell him that my relief is almost as palpable as yours.
…..And where on earth did you find time to get this post down after just half an hour?? Very glad you have done though!
You all have a great night, steady on the funny cigars!!
See you when you emerge from under the smoke cloud……

Stewart,
Yes as you say two days on
I had to work a sleepover last night which meant staying overnight at my place of work till 3o’clock today, but to be home to welcome Pat through the door was a gift I cherish.. Feel so relaxed and at peace, that nagging worry I no longer have to put back in its place.
The weather up here is surprisingly bright, always that cool breeze in the air though, north sea breeze, very different to that Med or Atlantic breeze, and what they call the Har, a thick sea mist that just hangs like a blanket on the landscape, very atmospheric, but frustrating as one knows that beyond that lies the sunny blue sky.
Hope you have had some time to yourself to do those things that refresh the spirit..
Much love and warmest thoughts sent for you XXX Auds
your blog is very nice !
